The Lake Toya Onsen Illumination Tunnel is a captivating winter attraction located in the heart of the Lake Toya Onsen area. This 70-meter tunnel, adorned with 400,000 lights, creates a magical experience for visitors. Open from November to late April, the tunnel also features a 9-meter dome, adding to the spectacle. It's easily accessible by bus from JR Toyako Station. The illumination is free to enjoy and offers a perfect evening stroll after soaking in the nearby onsen.
