The Sairenji Niomon Gate, located in Namegata, Ibaraki, is a designated National Important Cultural Property with a rich history dating back to 1543. Originally a two-story gate, it was later converted to a single-story structure in the Kansei era (1789-1801) and moved to its current location in 1860. Visitors can appreciate the unique architectural details characteristic of the late Muromachi period. The temple is also known for its large ginkgo trees, making it a popular spot, especially during autumn. Admission is free, and the gate is easily accessible by car from the Joban and Higashi-Kanto Expressways.
