Manten Hoshi no Yu is a popular hot spring facility located in the Sarugakyo Onsen area of Minakami, Gunma Prefecture. Conveniently accessible by car, it's a great stop after skiing or exploring the nearby Akaya Lake. The facility offers both indoor and outdoor baths, including rotenburo (open-air baths) with scenic views, especially beautiful at night when the stars are visible. Relax in the spacious tatami mat rest area or enjoy a meal at the on-site restaurant, which features local cuisine. Open from 10:00 to 21:00 (last entry at 22:00), it's closed on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month (open if a holiday).
