Located in Nanyo City, Yamagata Prefecture, known as the birthplace of grapes, this grape farm offers a delightful fruit-picking experience. Various farms throughout the city feature all-you-can-eat options and cafes. From early July to mid-October, visitors can enjoy picking and comparing different grape varieties, from the popular Delaware to large, juicy grapes. The farm is easily accessible by car, just 10 minutes from Akayu Station. Note that the grape-picking experience involves navigating sloping vineyards, which may not be suitable for everyone. Entrance fee is approximately ¥700.
