Shinshoji Temple, also known as the Ominaeshi (maiden flower) Temple, is one of the Nagatoro Autumn Seven Herbs Temples. Located in Nagatoro, Saitama Prefecture, it's easily accessible and offers a serene escape. The temple is particularly famous for its field of vibrant yellow Ominaeshi flowers, which bloom in early September, creating a maze-like spectacle. Though the temple grounds are relatively small, the friendly atmosphere and unique flower garden make it a worthwhile visit. In spring, a few cherry trees add to the scenery. A short walk from the parking area leads to this peaceful temple, where you can also view a stone said to resemble a monkey.
