The temple is especially lively during the "Fire Festival" on the last Sunday of October. The inner sanctuary, "Nageiredo Hall," is a designated National Treasure, offering a spectacular view from its cliffside location. Note that reaching Nageiredo Hall requires a challenging hike, so appropriate footwear is essential. The temple also serves as the 31st station on the Chugoku 33 Kannon Pilgrimage route.
