Higashi Onuma Campground, located on the shore of Lake Onuma in Onuma Quasi-National Park, offers a beautiful natural setting for camping enthusiasts. This free campground provides basic amenities such as restrooms and cooking areas, making it ideal for budget-conscious travelers. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the lake and surrounding landscape, with opportunities for canoeing and other water activities. The campground is easily accessible, just a 5-minute walk from Choshiguchi Station. Note that the campground does not have on-site management, reservations are not accepted, and visitors are responsible for taking their trash with them. During peak season, especially summer, the campground can get crowded, and parking may be limited.
