Inage Shrine, a historic shrine with over 1,000 years of history, is located a 7-minute walk from JR and Keikyu Kawasaki Stations. Known as the guardian of Kawasaki, it is revered for bestowing "victory" and "harmony." The shrine hosts numerous annual events, including the New Year's visit, the Great Purification Ceremony in June and December, the Kawasaki Sanno Festival in August, and the Rooster Market in November. Visitors can explore the grounds to see the sacred ginkgo tree, monuments inscribed with haiku by Matsuo Basho and Masaoka Shiki, and the remains of the Kodorobashi Bridge. Open all day for shrine visits.
