Located right in front of JR Hitoyoshi Station, the Karakuri Monument is a charming clock tower designed to resemble Hitoyoshi Castle. Every hour, on the hour, the clock puts on a delightful show featuring 17 dolls dancing to the tune of "Kuma no Rokuchoshi," a local folk song. The performance depicts a lord leaving his castle to enjoy the town. It's a perfect welcome or farewell as you explore Hitoyoshi. The show lasts for about 3 minutes and 10 seconds and runs from 9 AM to 6 PM daily.
