Higure Falls is a stunning natural attraction located in Komagane, Nagano Prefecture. The falls can be viewed from a close distance with a 10-minute walk from Shirabidaira Station, or from above by riding the Komagatake Ropeway. The falls are especially beautiful during the autumn foliage season. Shirabidaira Station has well-maintained walking paths, though the final approach to the falls involves ladders and potentially slippery rocks. The falls are a great option for those with some extra time while waiting for the Komagatake Ropeway. Parking is available for 900 cars.
