Yatadera Daimonbo is a temple located within the grounds of Yatadera Temple in Yamatokoriyama, Nara. Known as one of the four remaining sub-temples, it's situated at the entrance to Yatadera. A notable feature is its connection to Kobo Daishi. During the hydrangea season, Yatadera Temple is famous for its stunning display of approximately 10,000 hydrangea plants of about 60 varieties. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful hydrangea garden and the serene atmosphere. The temple also offers views of the surrounding Heian plains. It's an ideal spot to visit during the rainy season to fully appreciate the hydrangeas.
