Hōtoku-ji Temple, founded around 1450, is a Zen temple famous for its stunning reflections on the polished floors of the main hall. Visitors flock to see this unique sight, especially during the autumn foliage season and when the fresh greenery emerges. The temple also features a charming path lined with 50 Jizo statues and seasonal displays like umbrella skies and carp streamers. Located in Kiryu, Gunma Prefecture, it's best accessed by car (about 10 minutes from Akagi or Aioi stations), though rental bicycles are available at Kiryu Station. Open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, note that it can get crowded, particularly on weekends and during special viewing periods. The temple offers numerous Goshuin stamps, adding to its appeal.
