The Statue of Mito Komon pays homage to Mitsukuni Tokugawa, famously known as Mito Komon. Several statues are located throughout Mito City, with the largest situated on the shore of Lake Senba. Erected in March 1984, this prominent statue faces eastward, gazing towards the Mito Castle ruins, his birthplace. Another notable statue, accompanied by Suke-san and Kaku-san, stands near Mito Station, offering a great photo opportunity.
