Watatsumi no Yu is a modern, Japanese-style onsen facility located near the popular Wadahama Beach in Takahama. Just a 10-minute drive from Ooi-Takahama IC on the Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway and a 15-minute walk from JR Wakasa-Wada Station, it's easily accessible for travelers. The onsen features various baths, including a natural hot spring, a jacuzzi, and an open-air bath with partial views of the Sea of Japan. The sodium-chloride spring water is known for its warming properties. Open from 10:00 to 22:00 (last entry for onsen at 21:30), it's a perfect spot to relax after a day at the beach. Note that it's closed every Thursday, except during the summer.
