The Midori City Omama Museum, formerly the Omama Bank, is located a short 5-minute walk from Omama Station. This small museum offers a compact overview of Omama's nature and history. One notable exhibit features fossils of conodonts discovered in the area. The building retains its original bank facade on the front, while the interior has been renovated. The rear of the building presents a newer structure, and a traditional storehouse is located nearby, making the exterior worth exploring even without entering. It's a great place to learn about the local history and see artifacts from the former Ashio Line.
