Diamond Dust in Kawayu is a winter illumination event held in Kawayu Onsen, Hokkaido, typically from early to late February. Located in the Kawayu Enchi park, the event features an artificial recreation of diamond dust, enhanced by beautiful illuminations. Visitors can also enjoy the park's foot baths and naturally flowing hot spring streams. Due to the cold temperatures required for the diamond dust effect, warm clothing is highly recommended. The event is easily accessible via a short bus ride from JR Kawayu Onsen Station, followed by a brief walk from the Kawayu Post Office.
