The Echizen Matsushima Aquarium offers an interactive experience where visitors can "see, touch, and enjoy." Popular attractions include dolphin shows and penguin walks. Guests can also interact with seals, sharks, and giant octopuses, as well as feed sea turtles and various marine fish. The large "Marine Hall" tank is a highlight, allowing visitors to walk on a glass surface above the water (shoes must be removed). Located in Fukui Prefecture, it's accessible by bus from Mikuni Station. Open hours vary by season, with extended hours during summer and Golden Week. A fun destination for all ages!
