Komakiyama Castle Historical Information Center

Overview

Located at the foot of Komakiyama Castle, the Komakiyama Castle Historical Information Center (Rekishiru Komaki) is a guidance facility that conveys the history, culture, and nature of Komakiyama. Just a 5-minute walk from the Meitetsu Bus Komaki City Hall or the Komaki Loop Bus Komakiyama stop, it's also an 8-minute drive (8 km) from the Komaki-Minami exit of the Nagoya Expressway. The center features exhibits using videos and models to explain Komakiyama Castle's stone walls, castle town, and the Battle of Komaki-Nagakute. A visit here is recommended before ascending to Komakiyama Castle to enhance your understanding of the site. Admission is ¥200 (joint ticket with Komakiyama Historical Museum at the summit). Paid parking is available (¥100/30 minutes, with the first 2 hours free).
