Located in Jodogahama, a scenic area within Sanriku Fukko National Park, Jodogahama Marine House serves as a hub for exploring the stunning coastline. Here, you can catch a ride on a 'sappa boat' to the Blue Grotto, rent rowboats or swan boats, or even arrange a fishing trip. The Marine House also offers a restaurant where you can savor local seafood dishes and a shop selling Sanriku souvenirs. Open from March to November, it's an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the coastal views after a walk along the nearby trails. Note that sappa boat rides to the Blue Grotto are popular and operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so arriving early is recommended.
