Myogi Shrine, nestled in the mountains of Gunma Prefecture, boasts a rich history of approximately 1,500 years. The shrine is dedicated to Yamato Takeru and features stunning Edo-period architecture, including a main hall, Karamon gate, and main gate designated as National Important Cultural Properties. Visitors can admire the weeping cherry blossoms and yellow cherry trees. Note that reaching the main hall involves climbing steep stone steps, but a less strenuous path is available. Located a short taxi or car ride from Matsuida Station and the Matsuida-Myogi IC, the shrine offers a serene and beautiful atmosphere.
