This mountain castle, renowned for its strategic importance during the Warring States period, offers a glimpse into Japan's feudal past. Wander through the remains of stone walls and ancient paths, and visit the monuments dedicated to Yamanaka Shikanosuke. Located in Yasugi, Shimane Prefecture, the ruins are accessible by bus from Yasugi Station followed by a walk, or a short drive from Yasugi I.C. on the Sanin Expressway. Allow 40-60 minutes for the ascent to the summit.
