Enjuin Temple, founded approximately 1300 years ago by En no Ozunu, is located near the entrance to Akame 48 Falls in Nabari, Mie Prefecture. Once a training ground for Iga ninja, it was rebuilt by Takatsugu Todo after being destroyed. The temple is known for its beautiful weeping cherry blossoms in spring and autumn foliage. A stone lantern in front of the main hall, dating back to the Kamakura period (1307), is designated as an important cultural property. Today, Enjuin offers a glimpse into ninja history and scenic beauty, with ninja experiences sometimes available for children. The main hall requires a reservation to view.
