Haruna Shrine, founded over 1400 years ago during the reign of Emperor Yomei, is a historic site nestled in the mountains of Takasaki, Gunma Prefecture. The main hall, rebuilt about 200 years ago, enshrines its deity within a cave in the Gozuiwa rock formation. The grounds feature numerous cultural properties and natural monuments, including the Yatatesugi cedar, where warlord Takeda Shingen prayed for victory. Today, it's a popular power spot attracting visitors of all ages. Accessible by bus from Takasaki Station or by car from Maebashi or Shibukawa Ikaho ICs, the shrine offers a serene escape into nature and history.
