Overview

The Stone Museum Hakusekikan, located in Nakatsugawa, Gifu, showcases rare minerals from around the world, with a focus on those from Hirukawa Village. A highlight is the 1/10th scale replica of the Pyramid of Giza, constructed from 5,500 tons of Hirukawa granite, which houses a 350-meter underground labyrinth. Enjoy pyramid-shaped curry and other meals in the temple-style restaurant built with 110-year-old stone pillars. Families will love the popular gemstone hunting experience, where you can find and create accessories from about 30 types of gems and precious stones.
