The Memanbetsu Airport Observation Facility, located on the 3rd floor of the airport terminal, offers a free viewing area where visitors can watch planes take off and land against a backdrop of majestic mountains. While the number of parked aircraft may be limited, the facility provides a chance to experience the clear Hokkaido air and scenery. Note that during winter, the rooftop area may have snow accumulation. It's a great spot to spend time while waiting for flights, though it may be quiet if there aren't many planes at the time of your visit. The observation deck is accessible via stairs next to the baggage inspection gate on the 2nd floor.
