The Usogawa Dam is a rockfill dam located upstream of the Usogawa River, offering panoramic views of the Koto Plain. Visitors can explore the dam's walkway and descend the stairs next to the emergency spillway to reach the park below. A unique feature is the gazebo in the center of the dam. Nearby, discover the Yamahiko Spring, selected as one of Japan's Best Waters. The dam is accessible by taxi from JR Biwako Line Inae Station or by car via the Meishin Koto Sanzan SIC (ETC required) or the Meishin Hikone IC. The best time to visit is during the autumn foliage season.
