The Dr. Takashi Nagai Memorial Museum honors Dr. Takashi Nagai, a Nagasaki atomic bomb survivor who dedicated himself to treating victims and advocating for peace through his writings, including "The Bells of Nagasaki." The museum showcases his personal effects and literary works, offering insight into his life and message of peace. Located in Unnan City, Shimane Prefecture, the museum is accessible by a 20-minute taxi ride from Izumo Airport. Please note that the museum is currently closed for renovations and is scheduled to reopen in April 2021. Admission is ¥300 for adults; free for those 18 and under.
