Tokuwa Valley, located along the Tokuwa River, a tributary of the Fuefuki River, marks the entrance to Mt. Kantoku. This scenic valley offers a roughly 3-hour hiking course, perfect for nature enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful walk along the trails, surrounded by lush greenery and small waterfalls. The valley is especially beautiful during the autumn foliage season. Access is available via a 40-minute bus ride from Yamanashi City Station. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear as some areas can be slippery.
