Lake Minami Park, established in 1801 by Lord Matsudaira Sadanobu of the Shirakawa Domain, is considered Japan's oldest park. This scenic park offers beautiful seasonal views, including cherry blossoms in spring, lush greenery in summer, vibrant foliage in autumn, and snowscapes in winter. Visitors can stroll around the lake, enjoy the walking paths, and visit the adjacent Minami Lake Shrine and Suirakuen Japanese garden.
