Kurone Iwa Buro is a popular open-air hot spring located in Higashiizu, offering stunning ocean views. This seaside bath allows visitors to soak while enjoying panoramic vistas of the sea and nearby Izu Oshima island. Note that the bathing area is separated by gender, with a women's only bath located past the mixed bathing area. Though simple, the experience of bathing so close to the ocean is exceptional. Open to the public for a fee, it's free for guests staying at local Kitagawa Onsen accommodations. Be aware that facilities are minimal, with only changing areas available.
