Located within the grounds of Hofu Tenmangu Shrine, the Hofu Tenmangu Historical Museum showcases a collection of valuable cultural assets. The museum features exhibits including picture scrolls, temple bells, a seated statue of Dainichi Nyorai, and armor with a helmet. Special exhibitions, such as those focusing on Takasugi Shinsaku, are held periodically. Note that photography is prohibited inside the museum.
