Dairyu-ji Temple, founded around 1560, is a Soto Zen Buddhist temple located a 10-minute walk from Oga Station. This temple is known for its beautiful gardens and impressive architecture. Visitors can admire the dragon painting on the ceiling of the main hall, the Sixteen Arhat statues, the Thirty-Three Kannon statues, and the Dragon King Hall with its bell tower. Enjoy a stroll around the Rakusui-tei garden with its Dragon Water Waterfall, and relax with tea while viewing the garden from Rakusui-tei. The temple treasures and gardens are well worth seeing, and photography is allowed. Open from 8 AM to 4 PM, with an admission fee of ¥400.
