Mizujingu Shrine, also known as Koriyama Ekimae Mizujingu, is a small shrine located near Koriyama Station, a mere 2-minute walk away. Situated behind the ATi commercial building and near Pivot supermarket, this easily overlooked spot is a place of reverence for locals. Originally established to enshrine the water deities of Yanagi no Shimizu and the well in front of the station, it was relocated to its current location after the war. The shrine is known as a guardian of water sources in Koriyama and is believed to protect the city from fire. The annual festival is held every August 1st.
