Mitokusan Nageiredo Hall, also known as Sanbutsu-ji Nageiredo, is a remarkable and historically significant structure located in Tottori Prefecture. Accessible by a 40-minute bus ride from Kurayoshi Station, this hall is one of the oldest examples of Kasuga-style shrine architecture, dating back to the Kamakura period, with tree-ring dating suggesting a construction date around 1082. Designated as a National Important Cultural Property, the hall is renowned for its unique construction and integration with the natural landscape. Note that reaching the hall requires a challenging hike, and individual visits are not permitted; allow 1-2 hours for the round trip. For an easier view, visit the free observation point equipped with binoculars.
