Henjoji Temple Tahoto Pagoda

Located a 5-minute walk from Kasaoka Station, the Henjoji Temple Tahoto Pagoda is a must-see historical landmark. This ancient two-storied pagoda, dating back to 1606, is the oldest of its kind in Okayama Prefecture and is designated as a national important cultural property. While the Henjoji Temple has moved, the pagoda remains in its original location, next to a 400-year-old ginkgo tree, creating a unique juxtaposition with the surrounding urban environment.
