Kakamigahara City Park is a lush green oasis located in the heart of the city, easily accessible just a 3-minute walk from Meitetsu Shimin Koen-mae Station. This 6.5-hectare park is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, offering a variety of attractions including a large athletic facility for children, health equipment for adults, and even a foot reflexology path. The park is especially vibrant during the Kakamigahara City Cherry Blossom Festival, held annually from the last Saturday in March to the first Sunday in April, drawing large crowds to admire the blooming cherry trees. Don't miss the stunning weeping cherry trees, which bloom after the Somei Yoshino, offering a beautiful gradient of colors.
