The mountain, situated in Shizukuishi Town and Hachimantai City in Iwate Prefecture, is reachable by a 35-minute car ride from Shizukuishi Station, followed by a 180-minute walk. With a peak elevation of 1,408 meters, it's a great spot to enjoy the natural scenery and hiking in the area. The best time to visit is during the autumn foliage season to witness the vibrant colors of Mt. Mitsuishi and Mt. Kobukari.
