Mt. Kamegamori, also known as Mt. Kamega Mori, is a prominent mountain located on the border of Ehime and Kochi prefectures. It's the second highest peak in Shikoku after Mt. Ishizuchi. Visitors can drive along the scenic UFO Line to reach the mountain, though some access roads may be narrow and winding. The summit offers panoramic views of the surrounding Shikoku mountain range and the Seto Inland Sea. The area is known for its unique highland scenery with dwarf bamboo and scattered Japanese fir trees. Many locals drive up and hike to the summit in about two hours. Be sure to check traffic conditions before visiting.
