Ukare Yokochō is a narrow alleyway located in the Japan Taisho Village area of Akechi, Ena City, Gifu Prefecture. Once a bustling part of the Nakama Road, lined with shops selling sake and udon to travelers and horse handlers during the silk production boom, it now offers a glimpse into the past. While the liveliness of its heyday is largely gone, visitors can still see unique features like houses connected by overhead corridors. The Taisho Era Museum, showcasing materials related to Akechi Town and the Taisho Emperor, is also located in Ukare Yokochō. It's a quiet spot for a brief stroll while exploring the Taisho Village.
