Overview

The Koiwai Farm Kami-maru Cowshed, located within Koiwai Farm in Shizukuishi, Iwate, offers a glimpse into the farm's rich history. These cowsheds, dating from the late Meiji to early Showa periods, are registered as National Cultural Properties and are still in use today. Visitors can observe the cows and learn about the farm's dairy operations. The area also features Japan's oldest existing silo and a museum.
