Jizo no Yu is a free public bathhouse located in the "Ura-Kusatsu" (back Kusatsu) area, a short walk from the Yubatake. This area has been recently redeveloped with stylish shops and a charming atmosphere, especially in the evenings when it's illuminated with blue lights. The bathhouse offers a traditional onsen experience with hot spring water sourced directly from the Jizo spring. Nearby, you'll find a foot bath, a face bath (where you can enjoy the steam), and the Jizo-do temple, known for its benefits for eye ailments. Note that the bathhouse is small and can get crowded, and there are no lockers available.
