Experience the Saki-no-Yu Open-Air Bath, one of Japan's oldest hot springs, located in Shirahama, Wakayama. This historic bath offers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, especially beautiful at sunset. Situated right on the coast, you can enjoy the unique experience of bathing with the sound and spray of the waves. Note that there are no showers or soap available, as the water flows directly into the sea. It's easily accessible by bus from Shirahama Station or by car via the Nanki-Shirahama IC. Be aware that the baths closest to the sea may be closed during high waves. Entry is ¥500 for ages 3 and up.
