The Oyu Kake Shichifukujin Bishamonten is one of the seven lucky gods located in the Yunohana shopping street near Ito Station. Bishamonten is traditionally a god of war and warriors, but the statue here has a cute, approachable appearance, often holding a flower. Visitors can ladle hot spring water over the statue and offer prayers for good fortune, protection from evil, courage, popularity, and wealth. A map of all seven gods is available at the tourist information center, making it a fun and easy stroll through the town. Note that the hot spring water may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance.
