Chitose Shrine, located within the grounds of Yaotomi Shrine on Takeshima Island in Gamagori, is dedicated to Fujiwara Toshiari, a figure credited with developing Gamagori. Revered as a god of longevity, academics, and the arts, it's said that visiting all five shrines on Takeshima may bring lifelong happiness. The small shrine features a charming thatched roof and is near a statue of a horse. It is easily accessible by crossing a bridge to the island and climbing the stone steps. Best time to visit is all day.
