Komaki Dam, located in Toyama Prefecture's Tonami City, is a hydroelectric dam on the Shogawa River, completed in 1930. Once the largest in the East, it's now a registered cultural property. Visitors can enjoy scenic views of the dam and the surrounding Shogawa River valley. A cruise on the dam's lake offers a unique perspective, including views of the secluded Omaki Onsen, accessible only by boat. The dam is accessible by car from the Tonami IC on the Hokuriku Expressway or by bus from JR Tonami Station.
