Overview

Tanjoji Furusato Park, also known as Fuefukigawa Kahi Park, is a sprawling 20,000-tsubo park adjacent to Tanjoji Temple. It features over 100 literary monuments and song monuments, making it a unique destination for literature enthusiasts. The park is especially vibrant in early June when it hosts the "Poetry Mahoroba" event, attracting poets and writers from across the country. A local "Firefly Festival" is also held, adding to the park's charm. Located in Okayama Prefecture, the park is accessible by car from the Tsuyama or Innosho IC on the Chugoku Expressway (approximately 25 minutes) or a 10-minute walk from Tanjoji Station.
