Hanetaki Doryoson is a temple located near the Hanetaki Bridge in Midori, Gunma Prefecture, not far from Omama Station on the Watarase Keikoku Railway. Established in 1752, the temple is dedicated to Doryoson (a crow-billed tengu) brought from Saijoji Temple in Ashigara, Kanagawa Prefecture. Key features include the 'Nejiri-gi' (twisted tree), believed to promote healthy child development, and the 'O-geta' (large wooden clogs) for strong legs and feet. Visitors often combine a trip here with a visit to the nearby Takatsudo Gorge. It's a great spot to experience local beliefs and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere.
