Kosanji Museum, located on Ikuchijima Island along the Shimanami Kaido, is a unique temple complex featuring faithful reproductions of Buddhist architecture from the Asuka, Nara, Kamakura, and Edo periods. Highlights include a replica of Nikko's Toshogu Shrine and the modern, all-white marble sculpture park, Miraishin no Oka. The museum also houses a collection of tea ceremony items and other artifacts. Situated near the Hirayama Ikuo Museum, Kosanji offers a blend of religious art and contemporary installations.
