Washington Palm Tree Street is located right in front of JR Uwajima Station in Ehime Prefecture. This iconic street is lined with tall Washington palm trees, creating a unique, somewhat tropical atmosphere as you arrive in Uwajima. While some find the street charming and a nice introduction to the Nan'yo region, others feel it's a bit out of place. The street leads towards Uwajima Castle and various local shops and restaurants, offering a pleasant stroll and photo opportunities.
