Takayanagi Orchard, located on the scenic Okuno Hosomichi Fruit Line near Yamadera Temple in Tendo, Yamagata, offers seasonal fruit picking experiences. Enjoy cherry picking in June, followed by grape and apple picking in the autumn. The orchard also features a shop where you can purchase freshly picked cherries, peaches, La France pears, and apples depending on the season. After fruit picking, relax in the shop's rest area and sample complimentary homemade pickled eggplant and tama konjac. The pickled eggplant is a particular highlight and is also available for purchase as a souvenir. The orchard is a 15-minute drive from Tendo Station.
